ABOUT MEN’S RINGS AND HIGHBAR HANDGUARDS

Handguards or grips are used to protect your hands from wear on the Highbar and Rings. The beginners use palm guards and the more advanced gymnasts use Highbar and Ring guards. These will protect the hands and take some of the strain onto the wrists. Our Bailie range of Highbar guards and gymnastic handguards for Rings are manufactured in the USA and constructed with two finger holes for Rings and three finger holes for Highbar that can be adjusted to your size and a dowel that is glued and sewn to the guard. The quality of our leather makes this a long lasting quality guard! Available from Elite Gymnastics in strong Velcro giving better security.

Bailie sizing is different for different handguard styles. Please make sure you are ordering the correct size but we allow returns if they don’t fit and please always get confirmation from your coach that the size is correct before using your guard! To order men's and boy's handguards, please take a measurement, in inches, from the wrist to tip of the middle finger.
