PURE is a super fine chalk synthetically created by Tokyo Powder to give the highest quality magnesium carbonate.
By generating PURE from magnesium hydroxide, impurities are eliminated leaving a pure magnesium carbonate that is friendly to the environment.
Tokyo Powder's magnesium carbonate is purified by reacting magnesium hydroxide, a by-product of salt production, with carbon dioxide. In fact, the production of magnesium carbonate is made by "consuming" carbon dioxide. Created through a circulation system for seawater derived materials, Tokyo Powder's magnesium carbonate is a result of synthesising by-products with by-products. A perfect sustainable system.
